The West Tisbury Free Public Library is a Five Star Library (Library Journal ranking), one of only a handful of libraries in the country to achieve this prestigious recognition for service to its community. In order to maintain a high level of service to library patrons, the West Tisbury community embarked on a library expansion program to increase the size of the library from approximately 7,000 sq. ft. to about 13,500 sq. ft.
The first step in the process was a schematic design for the renovation and expansion work. The second step was to prepare a grant application for the submittal to the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners. The Town of West Tisbury hired NETCO to be its Owners Project Manager for this work which includes the MBLC grant application.
