Through the Massachusetts School Building Authority Green Repair Program, schools in the Commonwealth can apply for funding to replace boiler systems, windows and roofs. All repairs, must meet MSBA Green Guidelines.
NETCO, as approved Owners Project Managers for the MSBA Green Repair Program, was selected to oversee the replacement of boilers and underground oil tanks for the Toy Town Elementary School in Winchendon. The goal of the project was to increase energy efficiency by replacing the sixty year old boilers with new, high efficiency boilers. Additional work include was the replacement of an underground oil storage tank with a new, double wall tank, improvement of the drainage in the boiler room, and updating the electrical system to meet current code.
