Tisbury Emergency Services Facility
After several years of Town wide discussion on the location for a new Emergency Services Facility, the Town of Tisbury selected NETCO to be its Project Manager for the design and construction of the 18,500 square feet facility. NETCO’s experience in managing projects with tight time schedules and sustainable features were key factors in Tisbury’s selection of NETCO as its OPM. The compact time schedule of seven months for design and bidding has required that NETCO push the design and decision making process at every turn to ensure the project would be bid prior to a special town meeting in November of 2009. (The project was overwhelmingly approved.)
The facility is being benchmarked to meet LEED Silver qualification status and includes use of a geothermal heating/cooling system, photovoltaic panels, solar hot water heating and extensive natural day lighting and ventilation features. The project is currently under construction and on schedule to be completed in December 2011.
