Martin Luther King Charter School of Excellence

  • Size: 69,000 square feet
  • Cost: $6.4 million
  • Architect: Caolo & Bieniek Associates, Inc.

The Martin Luther King Jr. Charter School of Excellence Project involved the adaptive re-use of a 69,000 square foot industrial building. The new space provides children in Kindergarten through Grade 5 large classrooms, space for expanded special programs and services and new, exterior and interior recreation facilities.

The NETCO OPM assisted in the final review of plans and specs, made recommendations for value engineering, and expedited the bidding process. NETCO was instrumental in coordinating the purchase of furnishings, fixtures and equipment for the school while maintaining the integrity of the original budget.
